Please help the ministry from accruing unnecessary dumping costs by refraining from donating things that do not fall within these guidelines.

We deeply appreciate the generosity of our community in supporting the Lost, But Found Thrift Store with donations.

To ensure that your contributions can make the greatest impact, we kindly ask that donated items be in good, usable condition—something you would feel good about purchasing yourself. This helps us continue providing quality items to those in need and ensures that every donation is truly a gift to someone else. Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support!

Why this is important....

Please help the ministry from accruing unnecessary dumping costs by refraining from donating things that do not fall within these guidelines. All donations are tax deductible. Please feel free to request a donor form from the ministry team at Lost But Found (712) 472-0117, ATLAS of Lyon County (712) 472-9016, or via email officemanger@atlasoflyoncounty.org. Proceeds from the sale of items go to continue the ministry of ATLAS of Lyon County 112 1st Avenue Rock Rapids.

The money raised from donated items goes directly back into the county and its citizens. Many families benefit either directly from donations by being able to purchase your gently-used items at a low-cost from our Lost, But Found Thrift Store. However, families also benefit from the money attributed to those sales via programs such as our mentorship programs. Each payment for disposal of unusable, broken, or soiled items comes at a cost. These costs take away from the ability to help more individuals or to launch additional programing.
