Neighborly Support, Mentoring

Mentoring relationships strengthen the presence, existence and accessibility to Christian community by being present; developing a friendship through prayer, a listening ear and spiritual encouragement.  Individuals meet together for walks, talks, meals, devotions, events or whatever is best!

Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell…’The one who showed him mercy.’ And Jesus said to him, You go, and do likewise.  -Luke 10:36-37

Mentoring Youth for Leadership, a ministry partnership with Justice For All, is a collaborative effort that seeks to engage, equip and encourage youth (primarily between the ages of 9 and 18) through one-on-one and group mentoring.  Meetings can occur in the community, school, child-care setting or at the ATLAS Annex on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis. This opportunity offers a way to build healthy relationships, grow personally and develop passions through conversation and activity.
